According to the Pendo feature adoption report, 80% of B2B SaaS product features are either rarely or never used.
Here’s what this means for product teams:
- 80% of what you invest in product development is a total loss
- 80% of your backlog is dedicated to useless features
- 8 out of 10 features you ship makes your product experience worse
That doesn’t sound like a particularly high-functioning product development process to me. In fact, it sounds awfully wasteful and ineffective.
